How do I use this Wordle solver?+
Enter the letters you know are in the answer (green and yellow letters from your guesses) plus wildcards (? or *) for unknown positions. Use 'Starts with' for confirmed first letters and 'Ends with' for confirmed last letters. The solver returns only 5-letter words matching your criteria.
What do the green, yellow and grey colours mean in Wordle?+
Green means the letter is correct and in the right position. Yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position. Grey means the letter is not in the word at all. Use this information to narrow your guesses.
What is a good Wordle strategy?+
Start with a word rich in common letters like CRANE or SLATE. On your second guess, use different letters to eliminate more of the alphabet. After two guesses you should have enough green and yellow clues to narrow down the answer significantly.
